The redesign of Bourke Place and our lobby represents a new journey for our customers. Accompanied by a repositioning of the Bourke Place brand, we are focusing on what our customers truly want and need – convenience, flexibility, amenities, and community.
The ground level lobby will be revamped to provide an elegant and welcoming arrival experience with a soft, subtle and inviting aesthetic. New entrances will enhance physical and visual connectivity from Bourke Street, into the ground floor lobby, and through to the tower lobby. Additionally, the project will involve modifications to the existing western terrace, the conversion of the existing southern terrace into a more amenable space, and the refurbishment of the entry, main, and northern lobbies.
The project includes the development of existing retail and food offerings, creating a serviced eatery and grab-and-go style cafe to complement touch-down seating and informal meeting areas. Greenery will be used to create separate zones, bringing the space to life with layered, natural selections.
- New Entry/Exit: Throughout the duration of the works, the Ground Floor Lobby will be closed in its entirety. Access to the Tower will be available through the Lower Ground (Retail). Entry to the building via stairs adjacent to Woolworths and Oli & Levi.
- New Customer Service Desk: The Customer Service desk will be located at the Bourke Street Entrance opposite Nashi during the construction period only. The Bourke Place logo will be positioned on the rear wall. Our Customer Service Team will staff the desk during business hours. An additional touchdown desk will be located adjacent to Top Juice to capture customers entering from Kings and Bourke Place Lane. A Directory Board will be located adjacent to the Customer Service desk.
- End of Trip and Car Park: Access to the End of Trip and Car Park lifts will be via a newly created walkway.
