At AMP Capital, we want to shape a better future, and are proud to share with you our sustainability initiatives. Through equipment upgrades, LED lighting and analytics to better fine tune our operations, we have achieved almost 5% reduction in energy consumption and carbon emissions across our buildings in 2018, compared to the previous year.
To enhance energy and water efficiency at Bourke Place, we implemented a number of initiatives including the installation and commissioning of a new Building Management Control System, the installation of a carbon monoxide sensor-activated car park exhaust system, cooling tower upgrades, energy efficient lighting systems, water efficient fixtures and fittings, UV sterilisation of cooling and heating coils, as well as new chilled and hot water systems.
AMP Capital is also passionate about Reconciliation in Australia, and respecting the oldest living culture in the world. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been approved by Reconciliation Australia and was officially launched on 20 May 2019. This marks an exciting milestone and we have some events planned to bring this plan to life. More information and the RAP can be found here.
